Extract: The paper presents a new tool called PEAR (Prime Editor Activity Reporter). This reporter system allows researchers to visually identify cells that have been successfully prime edited. The study demonstrates how PEAR can enhance the efficiency of prime editing by enabling the selective enrichment of edited cells. This tool is adaptable for a wide range of genetic modifications, improving the precision and effectiveness of genome editing applications.
