Bioengineer, MSc
For my BSc thesis, I conducted research under an Erasmus scholarship at the microbiology laboratory of KU Leuven in Belgium, investigating the heat-stress adaptation of Escherichia coli. I prepared my MSc thesis within the Membrane Biology Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), studying the mechanism of the human ABCG2 multidrug transporter in the group of Dr. Balázs Sarkadi and Dr. Csilla Laczka. Following my final exams, I moved to Canada, returning home with my husband this spring. During my time in Canada, I served as a laboratory manager at a biotech startup for nearly four years, while also gaining experience at an industrial lubricant manufacturing company and a Canadian L'Arche Community, where I also conducted internal audits.
